Sunnmøre museum

Located in Ålesund, Sunnmøre Museum is an open-air museum with historic houses, exhibits and boats from the Middle Ages to the present day. It tells the story of how life used to be in farming communities. There is also an indoor exhibition. There are 56 buildings on display and Norway's largest collection of boats. Including Viking ships. Price is NOK 110 for an adult, children are free. It's just under an hour's drive from here. You'll also pass several shopping centres, including MOA.
